The Albatros Premier Hotel is located in Sultanahmet at the crossroads of all major tourist, business and entertainment districts of Istanbul, within two minutes' walk of the Blue Mosque and five minutes from Santa Sophia and Topkapi Palace. It is a short 15 minute drive from Ataturk International Airport and a 15 minute walk from the bustling Covered Bazaar. For the combination of price, service and location, we consider this hotel one of the best options for the budget traveller in Istanbul. From outside, the building is extremely nice in an all wooden style as Ottoman houses used to be. Being a special class category hotel and with its small size, the lobby area is not big. The rooms are simply but nicely decorated and are extremely clean. All rooms are equipped with minibar, satellite television, direct dial telephone and en suite bathroom. The bathrooms, although a little bit small, are again extremely clean; some of them have a bath and others only a shower. The hotel has its own restaurant. The Roof Terrace restaurant offers great views of the city and a good selection of international and local dishes.
